Soracte Ode

“And do not spurn
sweet love, my boy, or the dancefloor
while senior woes don’t cloud your sunny day.”

by Arthur Imperatore on April 2, 2017July 20, 2017

When Tigerhub Goes Down

The twenty-one hours to himself during the day aren’t so bad, but the three hours at night are paralyzing. He always tells himself, in the midst of particularly productive days, that he’ll be able to finally start doing things during the night, but when the time comes he’s scared of going out.

D-V-Dizzle Televizzle

Encomium Morae: A Declamation

Given Princeton’s academic rigor, I am appalled to see that it lacks any formal instruction in my divine art. Rather than forcing tomorrow’s brightest minds to learn my science on the streets, I have resolved to outline a few basic principles.

by Christian Burset on April 7, 2004March 17, 2013

Gods of Princeton

In six days God created the heavens and the Earth / but He gave us no way to determine our relative social worth.

Farmers and Princeton Against Hunger

“Eight-hundred pounds of beautiful Arkansas Black apples later, we took off our gloves. Some wiped off their foreheads. We squinted at each other in the sun, smiling.”

by Tess Solomon on December 3, 2017December 2, 2017

The Specter of Foodalism

There is one thing that sets Princeton University apart from all the other institutions I have spent time at. It is the irrational tendency on the part of my fellow students to go where the food is.

by Marek Hlavac on September 21, 2005March 17, 2013

Princeton on Crutches

“There are so many random steps on campus that you don’t notice until they become a barrier. It’s hard to explain the dread that washes over you when you’re trying to crutch from Schultz to Friend in ten minutes and encounter a flight of stairs.”
